Schools our kids deserve.

Tax rate we can afford.

On November 3, Keller ISD voters will decide on an $828 million bond package—the district’s first since 2019. Developed following months of review by the Citizens Bond Advisory Committee, the package includes five propositions addressing facilities, technology, safety, athletics and other district needs.

All five propositions can be funded within Keller ISD’s existing tax rate. According to the district, the tax rate would remain the same whether or not the propositions pass.

On the Ballot

Proposition Amount Purpose
Proposition A $756,300,896 Maintenance, repairs, and renovations at 34 campuses and facilities, including roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, code compliance, and safety systems, plus a partial rebuild of Keller Middle School.
Proposition B $28,000,000 Devices for students and staff.
Proposition C $8,867,510 Natatorium system repairs, including water filtration, dehumidifier, and HVAC operations.
Proposition D $11,025,446 Athletic Complex site repairs, renovation of the Keller High School Field House, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs at these facilities.
Proposition E $23,913,963 District-wide turf projects at Keller ISD middle schools and high school baseball and softball fields, including three middle school fields currently unusable for competition.

VOTING YES WILL FUND

Fund permanent roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety repairs at all campuses now failing our students and teachers.

Our kids' safety and health

Partially rebuild Keller Middle School, preserving the new 2019 construction, so students learn in a safer, modern building.

Protecting our children

Upgrade surveillance cameras, servers, alert systems, and emergency communications at every campus, and replace outdated access control, intrusion detection, and lockdown systems to keep campus safety systems current and reliable.

Safety and security

Replace failing air conditioning systems and give students and teachers the environment they deserve to learn and teach.

Cooler classrooms

Dignity and basic health

Fix outdated plumbing so every child has access to restrooms that work, every day.

Saving taxpayers $50 million

Every year we wait, construction costs rise. Acting today is the fiscally responsible choice.

A stable tax rate

All five propositions are funded with the existing tax rate.

Protecting teacher pay and classroom programs

Fund student technology through this bond, not the operating budget, so those dollars go to teachers and students instead of devices.

Repair the water filtration, dehumidifiers, and HVAC systems so the pool can reopen and students can swim and train again.

Bringing the natatorium back to life

Upgrade the Athletic Complex's lighting, track, turf, and restrooms so every athlete competes on a safe field they can be proud of.

Our student athletes

Upgrade the Keller High School Field House and fix the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems currently letting our teams down.

Investing in every athlete

Install artificial turf at every Keller ISD middle school and at high school baseball and softball fields, so no team loses practice time to worn-out or rained-out fields.

Year-round opportunity

The tax-rate facts

Keller ISD's school tax rate is the lowest it has been since 1988, and this bond does not change that. The tax rate, the only part of your school tax bill the district controls, would remain the same whether or not these propositions pass.
